New call for the Young Elected Politicians Programme 2024

We are delighted to announce that the annual call for applications for the Young Elected Politicians Programme 2024 (YEP Programme) of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) has just been launched!

Are you a politician with a mandate at local or regional level in the EU or in a candidate country for EU accession, born after 1 January 1989? Are you looking for opportunities to network, exchange best practices, gather information on EU legislation and EU funding opportunities, be involved in the work of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), and meet and debate with CoR members and other local, regional and European politicians? You are invited to apply to join the Young Elected Politicians (YEP) network!

The YEP Programme is open to all politicians with a local or regional mandate, who are under 35 years old and with a good level of English.

As for the last edition, the CoR widens the eligibility to not only politicians from Member States of the European Union, but the doors are again open also for applicants from EU candidate countries (Albania, Moldova, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Türkiye and Ukraine).

150 young local and regional leaders, of which many from our political family, will be selected for this year’s programme.

They will have the chance to be involved in several political activities that will be organised until the end of the year's cohort and become part of a wider network of young local politicians.
