Valencia, Zagreb, Roeser, Valongo and many more have already committed to taking concrete action for women and girls, which shows the political engagement of progressives for this cause.

Event - 25 October | #SafePlace4Women: combatting violence against women on the ground

The PES Group in the European Committee of the Regions is organising on Wednesday 25th October from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. an event on "combatting violence against women in cities and regions" during the Gender Equality Week at the European Parliament. It aims at providing a unique local and regional perspective on gender equality and the fight against gender violence to the week.
