Dear Members and Alternate Members!

This #EURegionsWeek, we’re kicking off a new mobilisation for safer, fairer, feminist cities across Europe!

Cities are not neutral spaces. Whether it's public transport, housing, street lighting, the design of parks or access to services, the way they are designed and planned impacts people differently based on their gender, age, physical ability, caregiving responsibilities, and economic status.

Today, our Feminist Cities Are Progressive Cities: designing urban spaces for all” event brought together local leaders and gender equality experts to discuss the feminist transformation of our cities.

But the work is far from done. Now, we are mobilising our local communities to demand cities that work for everyone. 💜
