📢 Call for the Young Elected Politicians Programme is now open!

The annual call for applications for the Young Elected Politicians Programme 2026 (YEP Programme) of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is officially launched!

Who can apply?

The programme is open to young politicians who meet the following criteria:

  • Under 35 years old
  • Currently elected at local or regional level
  • Based in an EU Member State or an EU candidate country
  • Have a good level of English

150 young local and regional leaders, among them 35 will be from our Socialist family, will be selected for this year’s programme. They will be involved in many political activities and become part of a wider network of young local politicians. 

Please note that the deadline for applications is Friday 17 April 2026.
