We’re excited to announce the next edition of the “#ProgressivesSpeakUp: School of Young Local and Regional Politicians”, our flagship training for young elected leaders from across Europe.
📍 This year’s School will take place on 15–16 January 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The focus could not be more timely: defending our democracy, a core priority for our political family.
Over two days, participants will take part in:
- Interactive workshops and participatory labs
- A high-level PES Group public event
- Inspiring social activities to connect with both young and senior progressive politicians

👂🏻 Important to know:
- Participants must be elected at the local or regional level, or be an official candidate for the next local or regional elections
- The age limit of the participants is 40 years
- Participants are expected to commit to attend all sessions of the programme, from Thursday 15 January to Friday 16 January lunch time
- A good level of English is required
- The PES Group will select and cover the participation costs of 35 participants
